It was hard to find a rattle that little hands could hold in reality and this is my favorite girl. They are easy to keep an eye catching colors, and they are so heavy that it Bonks head with them.
I have never written a review before, but wanted to after reading the reviews before I bought this costume. It seemed most people were complaining about the size... but it fit my 18-month old daughter perfectly. She's in the 50th percentile for height and weight, and the costume fit like a glove. It wasn't tight on her arms at all (didn't even leave marks or anything) and I didn't have to cut it. It did differ slightly from the picture, but was super cute anyways. Everyone loved it on her. I googled the costume before purchasing and one of the halloween sites that had the costume had a size chart posted. I would recommend checking that out before buying, just to be sure about the size... but it fit my daughter and she looked great.
Also, it was only one piece... so if you are planning on having your little one in the costume for any length of time, diaper changes might be difficult. Since we were only using it for trick-or-treating, it wasn't an issue.
We didn't get this toy at first, we got another brand, that was a mistake. Came to our senses and got the FP Brilliant Basics.
We didn't even take it out of the box and my son was already all over it. He kept swinging the ball back and forth (there was a piece of plastic that held it to the stand). We took it out of the packaging and let him mess around. It illicit alot of giggles.
What he likes about it: the little people - when you push one down, the other pops up and music plays. Whenever the ball is "hit" it makes noises. The ball is held onto the stand so he can swing but the ball stays put.
What I like about it - it's going to grow with him! As he gets older and coordinated, the podium that holds the ball can be lifted to his "standing" height, and he can swing and hit the ball where the ball will actually go off the stand. (There's a little hole in the ball for the pin, but when the stand is lifted, the pin isn't there).
For the Price toys - this is a great deal with frill, that he was accustomed to - music, sound effects and fun bright colors. Anything that keeps their interests within 10 minutes and its back to the means he must! We received a very fickle baby.
